Just looking at the Free Acres archives one fact is evident; there are a lot of people that have come and gone in Free Acres over the years. We use the terms Arrivals and Departures tongue-in-cheek to make light of the cycle of life, but we sincerely share the joys of the arrivals and sympathize with the families of the departed. We also have the "More" section. Although births and deaths are most common, there are other life events that may be announced on our site for the world to share. From wedding announcements, to graduations, to awards and everything in between. If you are a past or present Free Acres resident or family member and you want to share a life event with us, please e-mail FAAdmin@FreeAcres.org and note the event, dates, and names. Arrival:	Grandson For Gaspars! - Tuesday, November 13, 2007
Message:	Congratulations to Rosanne and Tony Gaspar who have announed the arrival of their 2nd grandchild, 1st grandson - Tyler Joseph Kosar, Born on November 13, 2007. Tyler joins big sister Mary Elizabeth who will turn 3 on December 19th.

Departure:	Harold E. Sullivan - Monday, October 19, 2009
Message:	Harold E. Sullivan, formerly of Tuxedo, NY, Passed away on October 19, 2009, at the age of 80. He was formerly of Free Acres leasehold #58, at 46 Water Lane. Born November 24, 1928 in New York City, he was the son of William J. and Marion (Kemp) Sullivan. Harold was a Korean War veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from IBM in Sterling Forest, NY where he had worked as a field engineer, and was also a member of the Fromm Maxwell DeBaun American Legion Post 859 in Suffern, NY. He was also a defensive driving instructor for Empire Safety Council, and was also a ski instructor for Sterling Ski Club. He is survived by his wife, Barbara E. Sullivan; a dauaghter, Sheila, a brother, John L. and his wife Mary Sullivan, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Donald.
